Individual Awards

Jiu-Jitsu competitors that finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd place will receive medals or trophies. Competitors who do not place will receive participation medals. At the end of the tournament, the competitor that has won by the most submission will receive a trophy and the competitor that competed in the most matches will receive the tournament Iron grappler trophy.

All competitors will also compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the series (see Tournament Series for more info).

Team Awards

Large team trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded to teams scoring the most points. This will be done in 3 categories: Large teams, Medium teams and Small teams. We divide the schools up by the number of competitors they bring to tournaments, 5 or less competitors is a Small team, 6 – 12 competitors is a medium team and greater than 12 competitors is a Large team. This gives all teams the opportunity to compete for a 1st place trophy.
